Asbestos Tool
B.C. Hydro is the province of British Columbia’s main producer of hydroelectric power. Most of it comes from an enormous dam in the northern part of the province, but the company also manages thousands of miles of transmission lines, many smaller dams, control centers and electrical substations.
Not long ago, BC Hydro decided to do a survey of all of their buildings and facilities to see if there were any in which asbestos might still be lurking. They started by asking us to develop an app that would help them with sampling various sites. Based on the initial results of that survey, they created a separate app for teams labeling contaminated assets. With each new phase of the project we refined and added to this suite of apps until our client had a comprehensive tool for monitoring and ultimately addressing a crucial problem.
We’ve worked with some of the best. While TBA Digital most often provides its services to multinational companies in the healthcare sector, our clients have been known to make everything from microscopes to dog biscuits. Some are purely retail and others are industrial giants whose products can only be moved with a crane. Almost all of them came to us with the need to reach a particular market segment with a unique product or service.
