Bio-Rad is a multinational company making products that assist in medical research, sample analysis and data management in the life sciences—particularly cell biology and proteomics. They also make and market instruments and chemical reagents vital to maintaining food safety and quality control.
While they do manufacture some pharmaceutical drugs and instruments, their main focus is supplying medical labs around the world with the tools they need to test biological and molecular samples with the goal of diagnosing and treating patients and improving overall health and wellbeing.
